Sherry has always been the best student in her class - during high school and college, in fact. In spite of this, she is still judged heavily by her peers. Since preschool, girls have shunned her for her intelligence--and so have men. Her mother always asked why she couldn't play with dolls like other "normal" girls and high school boys shunned her out of embarrassment that a girl was smarter than them. Her best friend is her eighth grade chemistry teacher who always stands by her side.
